Alice "Ally" Reinhardt was born on March 29, 1933, in Minneota, Minnesota to the late William and Ruella J. (Alleckson) Gregg. As a small child, the family moved to Marshall, Minnesota where she grew up and graduated from Marshall High School. On February 19, 1954, Alice was united in marriage to John J. Reinhardt and this union was blessed with three children, Paul, Connie and Sandy. They made their home in Marshall until 1965 when they moved with their children to Windom where they made their home. Alice was an AVON Lady for many years and then was later employed as a sales associate for BC/DC dress shop in Windom because of her interest in people she was employed there for 18 years. Alice's greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed being able to take part in many of their activities and they loved having her cheering them on. She also loved the color red and not only loved to wear the color but enjoyed decorating with it as well. Ally had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom where she passed away peacefully on Monday evening, May 19th, 2014, at the age of 81 years. Ally is survived by her three children, Paul (Pat) Reinhardt; Connie (Randy) Hochstein; and Sandy (Bryon) Grove all of Windom; eleven grandchildren, Heather, Preston, Heidi, Holly, Billy, Bryce, Abby, Jessy, Carmen, Dan and Al; six great-grandchildren, Kade, Kolby, Mason, Brody, Ruby and Graycee; two sisters, Doris Gruhot of El Cajon, CA; Marlys Carrow of Pipestone; Clint Gregg (Sherlee) of Marshall; Ronnie Gregg (Joyce) of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews. Ally is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Reinhardt on December 10, 2003; and four brothers, Bud, Arlo, Wally and Roger.
