Douglas Eugene Sills

Doug Sills, 50, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away on May 23, 2014. Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center 112 North Vine Street Glenwood, Iowa. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials: A scholarship is being set up to be given in Doug's honor. Douglas Eugene Sills, son of Ronald and Lois (Conner) Sills was born on August 16, 1963 in Bitburg, Germany. He graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1982. He married Dawn Smith to this union two children were born, Janaye and Joshua. The couple later divorced. Doug worked at the State School in Glenwood and most recently Target. Doug enjoyed going for rides on his Harley-Davidson and going on walks with his Rottweiler "Reba". Most of all his greatest passion was his two children and two granddaughters.
