nd sisters-in-law, Loren and Shirley Fick, Anita and Bill Chiaramonte, Norma and Randy Goetz, David and Darlene Fick, Betty and Dan Werth, Ron and Elaine Fick, Krista and Harlan Kroon, and Jim and Renee Fick, 34 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Immanuel W. Albrecht, and father-in-law, Paul M. Fick. He was born October 6, 1944, in Berkeley, California, to Immanuel William Paul and Margaret Jean (Prather) Albrecht. He was born again in baptism March 30, 1945, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Richmond, CA. He was confirmed on May 25, 1958, at Faith Lutheran Church, Fair Oaks, CA. He attended Concordia Lutheran High School and Concordia Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI. He served state-side in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968 during which he achieved the rank of Specialist 5th Class. He continued to serve in the Army Reserves for the next 4 years. He married Margaret Dorathea Fick on August 29, 1970, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Luverne, MN. They lived in Baltimore, MD until he entered Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, IL in 1975. He served his vicarage at Timothy Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs, IA in 1977-1978, and graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN in 1979. He was ordained and installed into the Office of the Holy Ministry of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, on August 5, 1979. He served as pastor of First Lutheran Church, Mount Ayr, IA from 1979-1983; Holy Trinity in Farnhamville, IA from 1983-1989. In 1988 he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and retired from the ministry in December 1989. He deeply cherished his family.
