David W. Bewley COLONA, Illinois -- David W. Bewley, 52, of Colona, formerly of Aledo, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014, due to injuries received in an accident in Muscatine. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014, at the Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Aledo. Burial will take place in Aledo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the David Bewley Memorial Fund as established at the funeral home. David was born on June 2, 1962, in Aledo, the son of Daryl and Mary Kimball Bewley. He married Rhonda Abel on October 20, 2012, in Colona. He worked for Heuer Construction in Muscatine. He enjoyed hunting and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Rhonda Bewley of Colona; sons, Aaron Bewley and Bryce Bewley and wife, Jesse, all of Davenport, Iowa, and Brock Bewley of Joy; two grandchildren, Blaine and Blake Bewley; his parents, Daryl and Mary Bewley of Aledo; and one brother, Doug Bewley of Aledo. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and uncles. [more]
