Franklin Edward Springer

Montello - Franklin Edward Springer, age 78, passed away on June 10, 2014 at the Middleton Village Nursing Home in Middleton. Franklin was born on July 23, 1935 in Watertown, WI, the son of Floyd and Florence Springer. Franklin was a graduate of Waterloo High School in 1953. He also served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. He married his wife of over 50 years, Henriette (Leder) Springer on June 1, 1962 in Germany. For the last 10 years, Frank was a people greeter at the Wal-Mart in Portage. Frank is survived by his wife, Henriette (Leder) Springer; four daughters, Corinna (Charles) Myers of Gilbert, AZ, Kim (Steve) Swan of Beaver Dam, Ramona Springer of Montello, WI and Michaela (Gordon) Peterson of Lake Mills, WI; six grandchildren, Eric, Christopher, Alexis, Jenny, Rachel and Aaron and five great grandchildren, Skylar, Blake, Tresten, Mercedes and Brandon.
