Jeannette Ryder

Jeannette S. Ryder, age 74, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township died on Saturday, June 21 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, she grew up in Newark and lived in Bloomfield for most of her life before moving to Holiday City West in 2007. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Shop-Rite, Bloomfield, for over 32 years. She was a member of UFCW Local 1262. Mrs. Ryder was an avid bingo player and bowler, and was a huge NASCAR, Yankee baseball, and Rod Stewart fan. She was predeceased by her son, Robert, in 2004. Surviving is her husband, Richard; her children, James, Richard, and David; and her grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob. Visitation will be held of Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A blessing will be offered during the evening visitation.
