Clarence Wilson, 88, of Keokuk, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Lexington Square.
Clarence was born November 11, 1925, near Chamberburg, Missouri, the son of Clarence H. and Mamie C. Howren Wilson. He married Dorris V. Miller Wilson on March 3, 1947. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2014.
He spent most of his life in Keokuk. He served in Germany during WWII. He worked for Hubingers for thirty-eight years.
A loving and faithful husband, farther, grandfather and brother he is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by a son, William L. Mann of Palmyra, Missouri; a daughter, Betty J. Ragar of Keokuk, a sister, Carolyn R. McKay of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Wesley (Julie) Miller of Keokuk, Iowa; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; a son, Harold Mann; two brothers, Charles Wilson and George Wilson, and a granddaughter, Gayle Mann Bridgeman.
Per his request he will be cremated followed by graveside service at Keokuk National Cemetery with full military rites on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Mr. John Sammonds officiating.
