Ervin Moninger

Ervin Daniel Moninger Ervin Moninger, of Cedar Grove/Town of Belgium, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 30, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 87 years old. Ervin was born July 10, 1926 in Chicago, IL, the son of Ervin Daniel and Katherine Gisselbrecht Moninger. After graduating from Lane Technical School, Ervin proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On July 16, 1955, he was united in marriage with Marjorie Hansen in Illinois. The couple raised their family in Illinois, before moving to Wisconsin in 1987. Ervin was a carpenter, and owned Monley Inc. as a general contractor in Illinois. Ervin was a proud member of American Legion Post #412. His passion was woodworking, and he created artwork of all shapes and sizes. His detailed work earned him many blue ribbons at competitions. Ervin is survived by his wife Marjorie of Cedar Grove and their son, Daniel Ervin (Catherine) of Findlay, OH. He is further survived by his grandson Daniel Andrew, sister Valeria (Kenneth) Glawe of TX, other relatives and many friends.
