TINA STAATS MARTZ MUSCATINE, Iowa - Tina Marie Martz, 49, of Muscatine, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at her home. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation or burial. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family in care of her husband, Michael Martz. Tina was born on April 19, 1965, in Iowa City, the daughter of Garry and Judy Tietge Staats. She married Michael Martz on December 25, 2010, in Muscatine. She had worked at Lutheran Homes as a CNA for 15 years. She liked Harley's, knitting, crocheting, and loved to cook. She especially enjoyed companionship with her dog, "Dog". Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Michael Martz of Muscatine; one son, Matthew Orr of Muscatine; one daughter, Kasandra Shellady-Orr of Muscatine; seven grandchildren, Jayden, Kinzie, Daleny, Johnathan, Emma, Mitchell, and Lilly; her mother, Judy Staats of Letts; one brother, Tom Staats of Garden Palm Beach, Florida; and one sister, Crystal Revell of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
