Charles B. Centers, age 63 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1950 in Ashland, Kentucky the son of the late James and Bessie (Bailey) Centers. Charles was formerly employed with General Motors for 30 years and retired in 1997. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Hoke McMillan and brother-in-law, Kermit Vencill. Charles is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra Centers; son, Zachary (Brigid O'Keeffe) Centers; daughter, Amy Centers; granddaughter, Deva Centers; sister, Sylvia (John) Abney; mother-in-law, Janie Dockery; three nieces, Sarah (Brooke Hardin) Vencill, Carolyn (Kevin) VanKannel, Theresa Gamble; three nephews, Kermit (Laura Rucker) Vencill II, Michael (Tiffany) McMillan, Johnnie (Shirley) Abney; brother-in-law, Howard (Anne) McMillan; two sisters-in-law, Sue Vencill and Pamelia (Bud) Tinker; as well as numerous great nieces & nephews. Charlie enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, singing and fishing, but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
