Beverly M. Leach NEWTON, Iowa--Beverly M. Leach, of Newton, died on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home, 1115 East 19th Street North, Newton, Iowa 50208. Burial will take place in the Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg. Visitation will be from 5:30 until 8 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorials to the UnityPoint Foundation for the UnityPoint Clinic - Cardiology at Penn Avenue may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home please add, Attn: Leach Family on the envelope. Beverly was born on May 4, 1945, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Kermit Jack and Gladys Murray Williams. She was a graduate of Kirksville High School. On July 10, 1954, Beverly was united in marriage with Larry S. Leach in Kellogg. They were blessed with four children, twins, Teresa and Lisa, Annie and Larry, Jr. She was a homemaker, a child care provider and she had also worked at the Cardinal Lunch in Stockton's Supervalu, Bigelow's Café and the A & W Root Beer restaurant in Newton. her family. She also enjoyed the children she took care of, cooking, collecting recipes, collecting dolls and garage sales. Beverly was a loving and caring wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Those left to honor Beverly's memory are her husband, Larry Leach of Newton; children, Annie Leach of Grinnell and Larry Leach Jr. and wife, Windy, of Grinnell; her nine grandchildren, Gregory, Jeffrey, Emily, Zachary, Tasha, Kristina, McKaylin, Ethan, and Chance; a great-grandson, Joseph; and 10 brothers and sisters, William Williams and wife, Wanda, of Cameron, Missouri, Bonnie Zaltiff and husband, Rayko, of Prairie Village, Kansas, Betty Harmon and husband, John, of Atlantic, Jack Williams and wife, Laura, of Kingsland, Georgia, Johnny Williams and wife, Judy, of Unionville, Missouri, Donnie Williams and wife, Rose, of Laredo, Missouri, Beth Smith of Humphries, Missouri, Ronnie Williams and wife, Nancy, of Trenton, Missouri, Jerry Williams and wife, Karen, of Bloomington, Illinois, and Barbara Pappas and husband, Dave, of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin daughters, Teresa Leach in 2003 and Lisa Diggins in 2009; siblings, Roberta "Willy" Stafford, Rebecca Williams and twins, Jane and James in infancy; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law.
