Anita F. Reese

Anita Kietzman Reese, age 94, passed away on July 11, 2014 after a long illness. Born on April 18, 1920 in Waterloo, WI, Anita resided most of her life in Madison. In 1949, she married James W. Reese of Madison. Anita earned bachelors' degrees in nursing and psychology from the University of Wisconsin. She served as a nurse, instructor and administrator at the University of Wisconsin School Of Nursing, also working as a nurse at the State of Wisconsin Psychiatric Hospital at Mendota, and at the State Department of Health. She is survived by a sister, Carol (Hubert) Klinkenberg, formerly of Beloit, two daughters, Frances (Rodney) Boatman, and Laura (Steven) Bloy, two grandchildren, Michael (Kirstin) Bloy and Sarah Bloy (fiancé John Haverty), and one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Anita was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Clara Kietzman, Windsor, Waterloo and Madison; her husband of 49 years, James; and a sister, Myrtle (Norman) Haglund, St. Paul, Minnesota.
