Harold "Pete" L. Greene

Mr. Harold L. (Pete) Greene, 80, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, July 23 2014 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. Born April 10, 1934 in Seymour, IN, he was the son of the late Lott Leroy "Roy" and Ruth (Taskey) Greene. On March 16, 1957 in Missouri, he married Linda Kriete. Pete was a member of Seymour Christian Church, American Legion Post #89 and the Diesel Workers Union. He was retired from Cummins Engine Co. He enjoyed building model airplanes, fishing and loved his dog Bandit. Harold is survived by his wife Linda, Children: Michael L. (Debra King) Greene, Traci K. (William V.) Copley, Kevin L.L. Greene; 4 grandchildren; Katie, Becky, Ethan and Tim, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: James Greene, Donald Greene and Jackie Greene; sisters: Helen Robbins, Esther Greene, Betty Kriete, Virginia Collins, Alma Greene and Barbara Hillebrand. Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Saturday July 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Lockman officiating.
