Mae Blaha, 82, of Fort Dodge passed away on Thursday July 24, 2014 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Mae will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday July 28, 2014 at North Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Mae was born in Southard, OK on December 14, 1931 to Charles and May Deal. She moved to Fort Dodge as a young child and has made Fort Dodge her home. She married Clarence Blaha in Fort Dodge on December 15, 1951. She enjoyed crocheting, watching Wheel of Fortune and going for rides with her sister Barbara.
Mae is survived by her children Roxanne (Grant) Reefer of CO, Marilyn Blaha (Dale) of Fort Dodge, Nancy Klinger of Fort Dodge and Peggy (Bob) Satterwhite of AK; step-children Elsie, Sandy, Dick and Dave; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; her siblings Janet, Lillian, Edward and Wilbur. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; her parents Charles and May and numerous siblings.
