ANNA L. SHEA MUSCATINE, Iowa - Anna Louise Shea, 92, of Muscatine, died on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Premier Estates of Muscatine. Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Gary MacManus will officiate. Honorary bearers will be Jill Roby, Erin Sapp, and Kelly Kolvoord. Casket bearers will be Jeff Hayes, James Van Dusen, Rick Van Dusen, John Kolvoord, Wayne Behrens, Greg Garvin, and Gerald Rinnert. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 on Monday, July 28, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of William Shea. Anna was born on October 6, 1921, in Atalissa, the daughter of James and Anna Van Zandt Garvin. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School, class of 1940. She married William J. Shea on October 28, 1942, in Muscatine. She worked for quality control at HJ Heinz Company and was a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge, Grace Lutheran Church and the Grace Lutheran Women. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patty Van Dusen in 2002; one sister, Lillian Luedtke; and five brothers, Edwin, Merle, Raymond, Glen, and Ivan Garvin.
