Paul D. Campbell, age 87, of Zephyr Hills, Florida, died Monday August 11, 2014 at Gulf Side Hospice. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 24, 1926 to Omer and Ada Campbell. Paul served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and received the Purple Heart, was a member of Jefferson Masonic Lodge and was a self employed master plummer with Plummer's and Pipe Fitters Local 162. Paul co-founded the Carlisle Police and Fire Departments and served as a volunteer for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Omer Campbell, mother, Ada Campbell, wife, Helen Campbell, daughter, Brenda, brothers, Gene Campbell, Kenny Campbell, Bob Campbell, Donald Campbell, grandson, Paul John. Paul is survived by his two daughters, Paula Greenfield and Shirley Fore; brother, Bill Campbell; sister, Dolores Sweet; two grandsons, Stephen, Douglas; great grandson, Jonathan; great grandson, Tony; great great grandson, Anthony. A Graveside services Will Be Thursday August 14, 2014 at 12:30pm at Woodside Cemetery with Dan Flory officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery with military honors.
