Dale V. Furman, 81, of Bradford, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa. He was born on December 1, 1932, in Franklin County, Iowa, to Irae and Ella (Meinberg) Furman. Dale graduated from Hampton High School. He was united in marriage to Imogene Harms on November 6, 1951, at the Little Brown Church. Dale drove semi and farmed throughout his life. He was a member of the Bradford United Methodist Church. He enjoyed tractor rides, tractor pulls, playing cards and spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his wife Imogene Furman, son Michael (Barb) Furman and children Travis (Suli), Traci (Matt) and Megan (Jesse), son Mark Furman and children Jesse (Lisa), Jason and Hannah, daughter Marcia Uthe and children Casey and Lana, daughter Melinda Sanchez and children Tommy and Krista, fourteen great-grandchildren, along with many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Marlyn, great-grandson Garret, brothers Duane and Dean and many other relatives.
Burial will take place at a later date in the Maynes Grove Cemetery, rural Hampton.
