Anthony Pangburn

Anthony B. Pangburn, age 29, of Albia, formerly of Ottumwa died on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Oakwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albia, under the care of Monroe County Hospice. He was born on November 10, 1984 in Sturgis, South Dakota to James and Valerie Pangburn. Anthony graduated from Ottumwa High School, class of 2003. He enjoyed being involved in the Junior ROTC program while in High School. He was a true gamer. He was also an avid Kansas City Chief fan. He also liked the Iowa Hawkeyes, especially Kirk Ferentz, St. Louis Cardinals, and Nascar. He was full of life. He was ornery and also enjoyed teasing everyone. He is survived by his mother, Valerie Pangburn and Joe Stone of Batavia, father, James Pangburn and Joslyn of Indiana; sisters, Heather (Shane) Hoven of Oskaloosa, Katherine Jones of Florida, maternal grandmother, JoAnn Crawford of Oakland, CA.; two nephews, Shane, Jr and Isaac Hoven, and numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
