Linda Lee Parsons was born December 1, 1949, in Algona, Iowa, the daughter of August and Evelyn (Moore) Schmidt. She grew up and attended school in Algona and graduated from the Algona High School.
After her schooling she became a certified home health aide and worked in the Algona area.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing cross-stitch, playing bingo, listening to music, but one of her biggest loves was the Elvis memorabilia she had collected. Linda really enjoyed living at Maple Park and all of her neighbors that lived there also. Linda was very active in the Grace Church and she considered the church family her family.
Linda died Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. She was 64.
