Harold Dean Meeks

Harold "Dean" Meeks, age 73 of Colfax, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at his home. Graveside services will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and mailed to the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The parents of Loren and Delia (Longren) Meeks, Dean was born on August 3, 1941, in Newton. He graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1960. On May 23, 1964, he was united in marriage to Darlene Gibson at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colfax. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 50 years, a son Mike Meeks and a grandson, Dalton Meeks. He was preceded in death by his parents. [more]
