he ladies of the church. She enjoyed the friendship of the retired nurse's group (The Chain Gang) and the Red Hat Ladies. Blanche loved antiques and collected antique glassware. She was a member of the Marshalltown American Glass Club for several years. She volunteered at the Good Samaritan House in Des Moines, in the Marshalltown schools and at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. She was very politically minded and enjoyed Fox News. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed her trip to Norway and Sweden to visit relatives. Blanche is survived by her daughters Michele (Paul) Johnson of Marshalltown; and Claudia Freed of Rochester, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Ben (Megan) Johnson of Marshalltown; Bethany Jorgensen, Bozeman, Montana; Jillian (Andrew) Troxel of West Point, Iowa; Ryan Freed of Des Moines; six great-grandchildren, Grace, Chloe and Kate Johnson, Rosalynn and Liam Troxel, and Silas Jorgensen; and her brother Gene (Ruth) Madson, Cedar Rapids. Preceding Blanche in death were her husbands Leonard Rogers and Dean Price and her son Joe Rogers.
