Harold N. Rowan

Harold Neal Rowan, son of Murvel Elwyn and Thelma Mae (Snyder) Rowan, was born December 7, 1929 in Coin, Iowa. He passed away September 25, 2014 at Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Nebraska. He was 84 years old. Harold grew up on a farm in Coin, Iowa. He graduated from Coin High School with the class of 1947. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Meads of Shenandoah, Iowa on October 15, 1950 at Coin Methodist Church to this union seven children were born; Steve, Chris, Debbie, Ann, Pam, Kurt and Julie. Harold farmed east of Coin all his life. He was a member of Coin Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching all the grandchildren's sporting events. He was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Nebraska Cornhuskers football teams. He loved gardening, flowers and had a green thumb. Harold was preceded in death by his five year old daughter Julie, his mother and father, and mother and father-in-law.
