Mrs. Carrie Mae Smith Gore was born July 13, 1941 in Chambers County, Alabama to the Late James and Ludeal Landers Smith, Sr. She attended school in the Chambers County School District. She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined the Greenwood Baptist Church. She was a member of the choir and also a member of the Pearls Circle of the Missionary Society. Carrie was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 23, 2009.
