Delbert "Tim" Meloy

Delbert Meloy, of Saukville, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira. He was 96 years old. Tim was born in Cedarburg on May 18, 1918, son of Henry Meloy and Emma Unger Meloy. Tim served his country in the United States Army during WWII. On June 21, 1946 he married Meredith Huiras in Cedarburg. The couple moved to Saukville in the early 1950's to raise their family. Tim worked as a turbine operator for Wisconsin Electric (We Engeries) for 29 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville, Landt-Thiel American Legion Post 470 in Saukville, Post 5373 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a former member of the Saukville Moose Lodge. Tim was a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He enjoyed working with his hands making beaded calendars for his family. rs-in-law: Johann (John) Heiting of SC and Marie (Tony) Starel of West Bend, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Meredith, son Keith, great-granddaughter Yoselyn, two brothers and four sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 6th at 6:30 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 145 W. Church St., Saukville. Father Tom Lijewski will preside over Mass. He will be laid to rest with military honors next to his wife in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saukville . Visitation will take place at the CHURCH on Monday, October 6th from 4:30-6:30 M. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
