Maynard Julseth

Deerfield- Maynard Julseth, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2014. He was born in Deerfield on October 7, 1917 to George and Betsy (Hoel) Julseth. On July 24, 1940, Maynard married Ruth Vikum and they spent 63 years together. Maynard spent his younger years farming in the Deerfield area. He then moved his family to Bensenville, IL, where he worked for the Village of Bensenville for 32 years. After his retirement, he and his wife moved to McHenry, IL. Maynard enjoyed spending time with his family. Maynard is survived by his son, Phil (Barb) Julseth; his daughters, Barbara (George) Sande, Linda Hartwig, Marjorie (Ralph) Rouille, Donna (Dennis) Giese; a daughter-in-law, Janeil Price; 25 grandchildren; and 45 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Roger (Wanda); a special brother, Rolland (June); brother-in-law, Larry Koepp; sister-in-law, Pearl Julseth; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
