Kenneth A. Larson, age 94, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. He was born on November 10, 1919 to the late Alfred and Caroline (Jenkins) Larson in Portage, Wisconsin. Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps onboard the USS Honolulu and survived the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941. On October 16, 1943, he married Inger Frette in Portage. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2011. Kenneth was an avid sportsman, loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed the water and boating. He enjoyed having his grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Mary) Larson of Appleton and Larry (Michele) Larson of Texas; four grandchildren, Jessica (Craig) Hietpas, Carrie (Scott) Nelson, Kurt Larson and Jake Larson; three great-granddaughters, Mary Hietpas, Madison Nelson and Sophi Nelson; three great-grandsons, Derek Hietpas, Cooper Nelson and Drew Nelson.
Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother, Donald and two sisters, Marion and Doris.
