Joseph P. "Pat" Dolan

Passed away peacefully Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the age of 82. Loving husband for 56 years of Joan (nee Sachs). Proud father of Mary (Bruce) Fansler, Maggie (Andy) LaVoi, Monica (Tracy) Bathurst, Joe (Barb) Dolan, Milly (Ray Kempka) Dolan, Melinda (Tom) Kalawa and John (Margo) Dolan. Adored Grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother to Veronica (Oscar) Stacionis and Kathleen (Tim) Hannon. Pat was preceded in death by his daughter Maureen (Kevin) Kalinowski and his faithful dog Chester. He will be missed by many family, friends and his gentle golden-doodle, Max. Pat was born in Rockford Illinois and spent the last 41 years in New Berlin. He was an employee of ADT Security systems for 44 years and traveled extensively in the United States and Europe for 15 of those years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Naval Reserves and long time member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church in New Berlin. Pat enjoyed driving across the country with his family and his dogs. It was not unusual to find him fishing with his sons, son-in-laws and grandchildren whenever he had the opportunity. Especially the cardiac unit at St Lukes and a special thank you to Dr. Treisman and his staff at Wheaton Franciscan Cancer Care and the ICU team at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Franklin for ensuring Pat's last few days were very peaceful.
