e best father and grandfather that he could be. He really enjoyed his time with them and loved to visit. Herman was the proud owner of Verwers Service, a wrecker service, in Melcher-Dallas that was established in 1955. He was a very hard worker. In addition to owning his own business, he worked for various businesses over the years, including: the VA, the railroad, Firestone and a local garbage route. Herman was a thinker and was constantly trying to think of better ways to do things. He will be greatly missed.
