Clyde E. Moore, 67, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014, at the Mercy Medical
Center North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa. He was born July 15, 1947, in Inola, Oklahoma, to James Ed and Pansy Muriel (Medlock) Moore. He attended Inola High School in Inola, Oklahoma.
Clyde lost his left leg while serving his country in the Vietnam War. He was awarded several medals including two Purple Hearts for the sacrifices he made during combat. After the war, Clyde married Sally Bridgman in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 21, 1980 and worked a variety of jobs but his greatest joy was watching over his 5 granddaughters during their childhood years. Clyde also enjoyed fishing, camping, the casinos, auctions, golfing, playing pool and cards.
He is survived by his wife Sally Moore of Hampton, son Rodney (Angie) Robbins of Hampton, daughter Polly (Tim) Primus of Allison, grandchildren Sierra, Jasmine, Madison, Cassidy and Reese, brothers Jimmie (Lucille) Moore, John Ed Moore, Jackie (Terry) Moore, Danny Ray Moore, Michael Moore, sisters Ella Ann Hughes, Charlotte (Bruce) Hendrickson, Sharon (Ray) Chambers, Mary Gail Moore, Dianna (Casey) Dorris.
