Kevin Hillhouse, 42, died unexpectedly in Glenwood on November 13, 2014. Cremation has taken place. A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the home of John Zych, 711 Nuckolls Street, Apt. 12, Glenwood, Iowa. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Glenwood assisted the family with arrangements. Kevin LaVerne Hillhouse, one of two children of Lyle LaVerne and Sharon Kay (Zych) Hillhouse, was born on August 4, 1972 in Hamburg, Iowa. He grew up in Malvern, Iowa before moving with his family to live in Tabor, Iowa. Kevin and Angela Taylor were married on April 19, 2003 in Red Oak, Iowa. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Andrea and Austin Jo. The couple separated in 2013. Kevin loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Kevin passed away unexpectedly in Glenwood on November 13, 2014, at the age of 42 years, 3 months, and 9 days. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Mary Zych and John and Juanita Davenport; and grandfather, Lyle Hillhouse.
