Kenneth O. Anderson

Of New Berlin, WI, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2014, surrounded by his family. Ken was born on March 30, 1925 in Carney, MI to the late Walter and Hilma (Fredrickson) Anderson. In September 1951, he married Marjorie Neece. A graduate of Bethel College and the University of Michigan, he worked as a teacher in Stephenson, MI and a guidance counselor in New Berlin, WI until his retirement. He was, for many years, a lay leader at Redeemer Evangelical Free Church in Milwaukee, WI. At home, work, and church he was known for his kindness, generosity, wisdom, and good humor. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Marjorie; his sisters, Mildred, Hazel, Naomi, and Jean; and brothers Garfield, Carl, Gilbert, and Wesley. He is survived by his children, Cameron (Cynthia) Anderson, Cindy (Richard) Lane, Julie (Martin) Stromberger, Laurel Anderson, Garwood (Dawn) Anderson, and Kristin Anderson; grandchildren, Aaron (Angela), Brittani (Dan), Ben (Valerie), Ryan (Merri), Jesse (Leslie), Emilie (Andrew), Thad (Danica), Lindsay, Lauren, Jason (Jenessa), Kelsey (Don), and Jenna; and twelve ...[more]

A Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the chapel of Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI with a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM to follow.
