the United States and Germany. On May 5, 1957, John married Carol Corrine Stroschein at St. John's Lutheran Church of Princeton, Wisconsin. The Lord blessed their marriage with a son, William. After living several years in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and briefly in Austin, Minnesota, John and Carol moved to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in 1965, at which time they joined St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. John remained a faithful, dedicated and active member of St. John's until the Lord called him home last Friday. Throughout his adult life John worked in the pharmaceutical industry. He served as a regional sales representative for the national firm of Eli Lilly, operated his own Drug Store in St. Francis, and established and then managed a medical clinic and pharmacy for the Quad Graphics Corporation, retiring from there in 2006. John will be remembered as the dear husband of Carol; forgiving father of Bill (Lenny); loving grandpa of Sam and Grace; brother of Roger (Marilyn); and good friend of Bill W. He is also survived by other relatives and friends, St. John's congregation, and the entire Christian Church on earth. We are saddened at his departure from us, but we rejoice at his entrance into heaven.
