Peter J. Schultz

Sun Prairie- Peter J. Schultz, age 90, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at The Lighthouse in Sun Prairie. He was born on October 12, 1924, in Milwaukee, to Peter and Ona (nèe Wagoner) Schultz. Ona later married Lester Leischer. Pete was previously married to Marian Gandt, with whom he had two children, Loren and Patti. He has spent the past 31 years with his loving partner, LaRaine Chapman. He worked many places over the years, including Mercury Outboard Motor Plant, Wilke Chicken Hatchery, Wisconsin Agriculture Insurance, and as a maintenance worker at Colonial View Apartments, in addition to doing carpentry and masonry work. Pete also proudly served in the Air Force as a radio operator and mechanic. Pete is survived by his partner, LaRaine Chapman; son Loren (Mary) Schultz; daughter Patti (Bruce) Morgart; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; half-sister Lesona Tait of Rolla, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
