He was proud of his children, and bragged about them to anyone willing to lend an ear. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vera Lucia Alves Graeff, and children, Denise da Costa Graeff, of Brooklyn New York, his son, Dennis da Costa Graeff, of Stoughton, Massachusetts, Doreen da Costa Graeff, of New Smyrna Beach Florida, and Priscilla Graeff, of New York City, and grandchildren, Cheyenne India Coyle, Olivia Jeanne Graeff-Fanelli, and William Cooper Graeff-Fanelli. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, from 4-6 pm, at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, at 6301 Taft Street, in Hollywood. Catholic funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 22, at 10:00 AM at St. Matthews Church, at 542 Blue Heron Drive, in Hallandale Beach. Rubens final rest will be with his parents and siblings in Porto Alegre.
