HARLEY TURNER
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Harley L. Turner, 84, of Muscatine, died on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Lutheran Homes.
Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date with Military Rites provided by the combined squads of the V.F.W. Post 1565 and the American Legion Post 27.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Susan McKinney.
Harley was born on February 23, 1930, in Muscatine, the son of Charlie and Iva Marsh Turner. He married Anna Pallischeck on November 8, 1952, in Muscatine.
He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the American Legion and the NRA. He worked for 35 years at ALCOA before retiring. He loved to tinker with things, was a hunter and a bass fisherman.
