Janice Marie Boyer OAKVILLE, Iowa--Janice Marie Boyer, 82, of rural Oakville, died Sunday evening, January 4, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Oakville. Burial will take place in Edwards Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello where the family will meet friends from 5 until 7 p.m. A Memorial Fund has been established for the benefit of Hope Haven Development Center in Burlington. Janice was born on July 28, 1932, in Davis County, the daughter of Hubert and Madeline Peterson Conaway. She married Donald C. Boyer on March 8, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1950. She worked for a short time at the Mt. Pleasant News. Janice was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, camping, cooking, and her flower garden. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and UMW of Oakville. She had been a 4H Leader for many years.
