David "Tuffy" Albedyll

David "Tuffy" Albedyll, age 69, passed away at Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, on Saturday, January 10, 2015, with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 30, 1945, in Watertown, Wisconsin. He lived in Marengo, Wisconsin with his daughter and son in law, formerly of Sun Prairie. Tuffy worked many years in the farming industry. After retirement he worked for many school districts as a crossing guard, playground attendant and lunch room monitor, where he enjoyed spending his time with the children. He was a charter member of the Men's Auxiliary VFW Post # 9362, in Sun Prairie. Tuffy was an avid sports fan and spent his days, nights and all weekends watching or going to all sporting events. He looked forward to going to Indianapolis, Indiana every May for the Indy 500. Tuffy also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He loved his grandchildren and great- grandchildren more than life itself as much as they loved him in return. A funeral service for Tuffy will be held at noon on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie, a visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Medina Cemetery in Marshall. Please wear your favorite sportswear attire. Following the service, a celebration of life gathering will be held at the Sun Prairie VFW Post # 9362. Please bring a dish to pass.
