Cora B. Waeckerle

Cora B. Waeckerle, age 90, died on January 10, 2015, in Waukesha, WI. She was born on March 22, 1924, in Plymouth, WI to Emil and Meta (Heiden) Beyer. She was the wife of the Rev. Walter H. Waeckerle, United Church of Christ. Cora and Wally were united for fifty-nine years of marriage. She is remembered for the quiet support she provided as Rev. Waeckerle's wife through their more than 35 years of ministry to UCC parishioners. Cora shared great love with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, camping, sewing, cooking and painting. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Eddie) Bedford of Naperville, IL and Carole (Rick) Winrich-Stein of Waukesha, WI and two sons, Steven (Cathy) Waeckerle of Rhinelander, WI and Timothy (Debbie) Waeckerle of Kenosha, WI and ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, Helen (Charles) McElroy and two infant brothers. She will live long in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
