y and Mathias Catholic School in Josie's name. "Josie' was born on June 30, 1929, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Pasquale and Anna Marie Battaglia Satariano. On June 22, 1949, she was united in marriage to Vincent A. Gaeta, Sr. in Pittsburgh. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2008. Josie established, along with her parents, Pasquale's Pizzeria and Spaghetti House prior to working at the Elks Lodge and the Bethesda Nursing Home. Josie was a member of the St. Mathias Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Muscatine Catholic Community Guild, Elks Lodge and the Ladies of the Moose. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and dominoes, going to casinos and more than anything spending time with her grandchildren. Josie will be deeply missed by her children, Anthony Gaeta and wife, Carol, Providence "Provy" Shoultz and husband, John, of Muscatine, Maryann Mulvihill and husband, Patrick, of St. Charles, Missouri, John L. Gaeta and wife, Gail, of Muscatine, and Vincent Gaeta Jr. and wife, June Anne, of Letts; 10 grandchildren Ann Barnhart, Jennifer Edwards, April Rickey, Tara Shoultz, Jared Shoultz, Maureen Mulvihill, Sean Mulvihill, Beau Huber, Kathryne Edwards and Griffin Gaeta; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Josie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six sisters; and two brothers.
