Theresa A. Stammer Mrs. Theresa Stammer, formerly of the Appleton area, was relieved from pain after a 2 year battle with breast cancer on Friday, February 20, 2015 at her Saukville home. She was 45 years old. Theresa was born June 4, 1969 in Menomonee Falls, the daughter of Gary and Kathleen (nee Flath) Wichtel. On September 22, 1989, she was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart Kurt Stammer in Appleton. For the last 15+ years, Theresa worked as a Practice Manager at Pain Management and Treatment Center in Milwaukee. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish in Saukville. Theresa enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing, going up north and spending time at Boundary Lake. Theresa is survived by her husband Kurt and their two children: Chris (Hannah) of Sturgeon Bay and Alex of Green Bay. She is further survived by her parents Gary and Kathleen Wichtel of Appleton, her father and mother-in-law Lenard and Marge Stammer of Menasha, brother-in-law Jason (Lindsay) Stammer, niece Jaden, nephews: Jonah and Brady, other relatives and many friends. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Immaculate Conception, 145 W. Church St. in Saukville. Father Thomas Lijewski will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 4-6PM. Theresa will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saukville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Stillwaters Cancer Support Services (www.stillwaterscenter.org).
