Raymond was born February 21, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Anthony and Margaret Adams. He was a proud Army Veteran serving his country faithfully from July 1954 - June 1956. Upon his discharge, Raymond attended and completed his Engineering degree from General Motors Institute. He worked many years for Corning Glassworks in Corning, New York until his retirement. After his retirement, he started his own business Adams Industrial Consulting.
Raymond enjoyed life, traveling, smoking cigars, and telling jokes. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife, Imogene, daughters, Melissa (Robert) Cudney of Hale, and Gina (Ronald) Wells of Hale, grandchildren, Shane Franklin and Angela Franklin, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, sister, Virginia Hunt of Ann Arbor, many nieces and nephews, and beloved friend, Herman Henke. Besides his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and Roy Adams, and sister Lena Schmidt.
