Doris Laber

Doris R. Laber of Davenport, Florida formerly of Hollywood passed away at her home on Thursday, February 24, 2015. She was 72 years of age. Born in West Berlin, Germany on April 26, 1942, the only child born to August and Kathi Anna Frieda (Bollroth) Nollen. At the age of two, Doris and her family moved to England and came to the United States in 1961 settling in Texas and then to Hollywood, Florida in the early 1970's where she resided until 2005. A devout Catholic, Doris loved the outdoors and nature and being with her family. She loved her animals, playing golf her home, holidays. Doris was full of life, love and happiness. The happiest time is when she met and married the love of her life on December 30, 1995. Before her retirement in 2003, she worked for South Florida State Hospital as a Nurses' Aide. Survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Dennis Laber. Visitation on Sunday, March 1st from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood.
