Frank Ruff

On Sunday March 1, 2015, Frank Ruff, 76 of Pompano Beach, FL., passed away at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Beloved husband of Anita Ruff, loving father of Ken Ruff (Leslie) and Jennifer Loesel (Myles), brother of Josef Ruff. He is also survived by his devoted grandchildren, Thomas, Kenny, Alex and Emma. Originally from Austria, Mr. Ruff emigrated to Toronto, Ontario and then to the United States in 1982 where he founded Good Roads, a manufacturing and wholesale automotive wheel company. Since its inception, the company's success was formed and based on family values, caring deeply for each employee as if a member of Frank's own family. The company continues to thrive today and carry on Frank's legacy, as a leading worldwide manufacturer of wheels and tires. Aside from spending time with his four grandchildren, Mr. Ruff enjoyed fishing, tennis and spending time with the family at their island home in Stuart, Florida. A Memorial Gathering for relatives and friends will be held on Friday March 6, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m at Fred Hunter's Lighthouse Point Funeral Home, 4650 N. 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 7th at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach (The Pink Church) 2331 N. 26th Ave. Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Private interment services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Joshua Hare, Director of the Stem Cell Institute, in memory of Frank Ruff.
