Gary W. Beck, 73, of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa, Iowa. A celebration of Gary's life will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. Gary William Beck was born on March 8, 1941 in Maquoketa, Iowa to Vincent P. and Camilla Mae (Peterson) Beck. He graduated from the Welton Iowa High School in 1959, and later attended the Universal Trade School in Omaha, Nebraska for refrigeration classes. He married Brenda Stoll on November 16, 1980 in Maquoketa, Iowa. Gary worked at Chemplex in Clinton, Iowa and later at Caterpillar in Mt. Joy, Iowa until it closed. Gary enjoyed photography, going to movies, stock car races and spending time with family. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Maquoketa.
