8-1978. He then worked for Western Products from 1978 to June, 1995 when he retired. He loved nature, animals and going fishing. He bravely and courageously lived with a heart condition for 20 plus years. He did not let it slow him down. He loved to be outdoors and taking walks. He loved striking up conversations with anyone he came in contact with. Glen is a direct descendant of Daniel Ladd who came to America on the ship, Mary and John, in 1633. He is also a descendant of Nathaniel Ladd who built the Ladd-Gilman House in Exeter, NH. It is now called the American Independence Museum, and is an historic landmark. He is also a direct descendant of Roger Williams, who founded the state of Rhode Island, started the first Baptist Church in America and was translator for Native American Languages. Having eight children, he often wouldn't get our names right. He would call out our names and end up saying something like, "whoever you are, come here". Dad, we know who you are, we love you and will miss you greatly. One day, we will see you again.
