Maria Bagiu Mundrean

Maria (Bagiu) Mundrean of Davie, Florida, formerly of Cooper City, passed away at Memorial West Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida following a fall she had six weeks ago. She was 83 years of age. Born in Lokve, Yugoslavia on July 1, 1931, daughter of Joseph and Juliana (Stefan) Bagiu. Mrs. Mundrean and her family came to the United States in November of 1967, settling in Ridgewood, New York. She then moved to Cooper City in 1992 and to Davie, Florida in 2001. Maria was an active member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Nazerean in Pembroke Pines for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be sorely missed by all. Survived by her beloved daughter, Juliana C Mundrean-Crnec and her husband Martin Crenec, devoted granddaughters, Helena Mundrean Muncan, Jacqueline Mundrean and Julie Mundrean, her adored great grandchildren, Isabella and Ethan Muncan. Also survived by her brother, John Bagiu and Anna Mohan. Her husband of 39 years, died shortly after they moved to Florida in 1992.
