Marilyn Wendy Morehead

Marilyn W. Morehead, 58, of Waterloo, Iowa, and formerly of Maquoketa, passed away on Friday evening, March 6, 2014, at Harmony House in Waterloo, Iowa. A public graveside service and burial celebrating Marilyn's life will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the East Iron Hill Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, Iowa. There is no visitation. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family. Marilyn Wendy Morehead was born on December 19, 1956 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Max Walter and Helen Frances (Wendell) Morehead. Marilyn had been a resident of Harmony House for many years and loved playing checkers and being around her extended family there. Those left to honor Marilyn's memory include nephews, several cousins and her extended family at Harmony House in Waterloo, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Carol Ellett.
