William Frederick Hayden

William Frederick Hayden, 94, of Burlington died at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Danville Care Center. Born November 3, 1915 in Havana, Illinois, he was raised by his grandparents, William and Martha Hayden. Mr. Hayden was a 1933 graduate of Burlington High School and received his teaching degree in accounting in California where he spent his career teaching. After retirement he returned to the Burlington area in 1986. Mr. Hayden was a World War II Army veteran and served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War. He was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include special friends, Bonny Augsburger, Otto and Betty Erickson all of Burlington and Dixie Toops of Kahoka, Missouri. The graveside memorial funeral service for Mr. Hayden will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25th, in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
