Violet L. "Vi" Carpenter

Born November 26, 1936 passed into eternal life on March 13, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Lyle W. Carpenter and her granddaughter Jessica Carpenter. Violet is survived by children Teresa (Jeffrey) Fritz, Brian (Catherine nee McFadden), Joey (Marietta nee Cianciolo) and David. Grandchildren Daniel, Matthew, Michael, Amanda, Christopher, Mike, Jessica, Samantha, Aaron, Gabe and Rachel. Great grandchildren Mason, Mia, Max, Maddie and Norah. She is also survived by brothers/sisters and in-laws, nieces, nephews, other family friends and loved ones. Visitation will be at the FUNERAL HOME, 12401 West National Avenue, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 5:00-6:45 PM. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 PM. Visitation in Wonewoc will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at ST. PAUL EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Service to begin at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Vi and Lyle owned and operated Lyle's Restaurant in downtown Milwaukee for 24 years.
