Junior Melvin "Mac" Guldberg, 91, of Coulter, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. He was born on March 5, 1924, in Latimer, Iowa, to Karl A. and Maude (Lage) Guldberg. Mac graduated from high school. He was united in marriage to Lula O. "Peggy" Morton on September 3, 1944, in Coulter, Iowa. Mac was a mechanic all of his life. He was a former assistant chief with the Coulter fire department. Mac was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Coulter and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harley's, snowmobiling and loved his family dearly. Mac is survived by his daughter Lee Guldberg of Cedar Falls, son Rick Guldberg of Coulter, grandchildren Dan and wife Megan Guldberg of Baxter, Danielle and husband Darrell Jones of Waterloo, Daeton Guldberg of Cedar Falls and Ben Guldberg of Newton, seven great-grandchildren and brother Ted and wife Marilyn of Hampton. He was preceded in death by his parents Karl and Maude, wife Peggy and brothers Don and Glen.
